Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's foreign affairs advisor Sartaj Azizon Wednesday said Sharif's ceremonial visit to India had a constructive bilateral meeting which turned out to be much better than expected.
The Indian Prime minister was also been extended an invitation to visit Pakistan.
Sartaj Aziz, Nawaz Sharif's foreign affairs advisor, said that the meeting had been a dignified diplomacy which was apparent from the warm body language. Both sides displayed sincerity, warmth and determination to move forward.
He further added that both Prime Ministers recognized the need to turn a new page in foreign affairs. He also added, "The PM Nawaz Sharif took the journey starting point was economic revival and development. Economic development for both the countries cannot be achieved without peace in the region."
The Foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan are expected to meet in a few weeks.
