American singer Selena Gomez gave her fans a sneak peek of a special tattoo inspired from the day when a friend saved her life.
According to E! News, in September 2017, the pop singer had undergone a kidney transplant to treat complications from lupus, an autoimmune illness which she first disclosed she had in 2015.
Gomez told Capital FM radio during an interview in the United Kingdom that she and her kidney donor friend Francia Raisa, had gotten a tattoo of the date of the surgery.
The 27-year old on Friday posted a series of pictures on her social media account that featured few snaps of behind the scenes of herself from the shoot of her new music video 'Rare' and a part of the tattoo was seen on her arm.
That seemed a number six, which eventually meant her kidney transplant was carried out in the month of June.
Selena captioned the post, "So my rare video is out! So I'm posting a few pics from that day."
'Rare' is Selena's latest album title track that was also released early on Friday.
