Sensex ends 284.20pts higher; Nifty at 10,768.35
Market indices on Thursday ended on a positive note amid favourable cues on the domestic and international front.
The BSE's Sensex ended 284.20 points higher at 35,463.08, while Nifty closed at 10,768.35.
All sectoral indices ended in green, with banks, energy, IT, and metal indices gaining over 1.5 percent.
While Tata Steel, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank gained significantly, shares of Kwality touched a 52-week low of Rs 31.65.
Meanwhile, Asian shares closed higher against positive handover from Wall Street.
