Rescuers have recovered a seventh body from the River Beas, which had swept away 24 college students and a tour operator earlier this week.

A search is still on to find the remaining 17 bodies.

Meanwhile, a team of Navy officials visited the place and is likely to assist in rescue operations. More divers with latest equipments are also expected to join the search operations.

The students, belonging to V N R Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad, were clicking photographs when they were swept away by the river after the officials released water from the Larji Dam located upstream.
