Suspended batsman Shahzaib Hasan has been charged by the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) Anti-Corruption Tribunal for breaching its code during the concluded second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Anti-Corruption Tribunal, which held its preliminary hearing on Friday at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, charged Shahzaib with breaches of Articles 2.1.4; 2.4.4; and 2.4.5 of the PCB's code of tribunal.
Last month, the PCB had provisionally suspended Shahzaib amid ongoing investigations into alleged corruption in the PSL.
Shahzaib has become the fifth Pakistan player to be suspended by the PCB, following Mohammad Irfan, discarded opener Nasir Jamshed, batsmen Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif.
The tribunal in consultation with both parties agreed upon the procedure and timelines to be adopted under the Anti-Corruption Code.
The PCB will now submit its opening brief detailing its claims along with the evidence to be relied on May 4.
Shahzaib will then be provided an opportunity to respond by May 18 and the PCB may, at its discretion, file a rebuttal by May 25.
The final hearing will commence from June 1 on a day-to-day basis.
