Russian tennis ace Maria Sharapova has said that she has split with her coach of three years and is hoping to name her new one soon.
According to the Daily Express, Sharapova had taken part in a shoot for Porsche at Manhattan Beach in California, in which she wore a pair of baby blue shorts with a navy and white sleeveless shirt, a pair of black sandals, with her blonde hair down, even as she made her statement.
According to a statement on her official website, Sharapova said that she has decided to part ways with her coach Thomas Hogstedt as he would not be able to travel in the near future due to personal issues.
Stating that they both agreed that it was the right time to move their separate ways, the World No.2 expressed gratitude to Hogstedt for his part in her success, and wished him luck for his future.
Sharapova also said that she would be announcing her new coach in a few days.
