Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi, who has always been seen in character driven stories, is having a tough time with his daughter because according to him, his daughter was not happy when she saw the trailer of 'Hate Story 3.'
The '3 idiots' actor first showed the promo to his 10-year-old daughter to break the ice and make her acquainted with his character in the film.
"I was the first one to show promo of my film and her reaction wasn't too good to it. Thanks to her cousin sister who made her understand that this is a part of my work. Well, I might have to bribe her with chocolates or holiday but I think she is fine. She is 10 year old and fortunately has friends whose fathers are also involved in films and seen them in action far more than she has seen me (laughs). So, she understands that this is work," said Sharman to ANI.
This is the first time that Sharman will be seen in a bold character. According to sources, he first refused to do the film but later on agreed to challenge himself.
'Hate Story 3' is an erotic thriller which stars Sharman along with Daisy Shah, Karan Singh Grover and Zarine Khan in lead roles.
Directed by Vishal Pandya, the movie will hit the silver screens on December 4.
