Prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case Indrani Mukherjea's former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Shyam Rai were today sent to judicial custody till October 19.
Earlier, the CBI had lodged a separate case against, Indrani Mukherjea, Sanjeev Khanna and Shyam Rai. Since September 7, the three have been lodged in judicial custody.
Last week, Indrani was admitted to Mumbai's J J Hospital amid speculation that she might have attempted suicide through an overdose of drugs, but now, according to reports quoting hospital sources, she has regained consciousness and is out of danger.
Indrani's daughter Sheena, 24, was allegedly kidnapped from outside the National College in Bandra and strangled to death in a car by Indrani, Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai.
