A group of hackers who breached Sony's computer system a few weeks back reportedly sent threatening emails to the employees.
According to CNN, the so-called GOP Group sent an email warning employees that their family will be in danger.
Confirming the incident, Sony said in a statement that it was aware of the situation and was working with law enforcement.
Meanwhile, the FBI said that it was investigating the person or group responsible for the recent attack on the Sony Pictures network.
