Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Nov 5 (ANI): South Korean First Lady Kim Jung-Sook will be in Ayodhya on Tuesday as the state guest for Deepotsav on Tuesday.

On the occasion she will light the lamp made out of waste materials.

The lamp is made by the fine arts department of Ram Manohar Lohiya Awadh University and has intricate designs on it which showcases Awadhi tradition and culture.

Manoj Dixit, Vice Chancellor of the university told ANI, "Students of our fine art department have made that lamp. They are also making rangolis on the occasion."

The size of this lamp is around four and half feet and a team of 25 students created it over a period of 20-25 days.

Elaborating upon the details and concept behind the lamp, Vinod Srivastava in-charge of the fine arts department told ANI, "The lamp is four and a half feet tall, it took our team around 25 days to create it. The lady on the lamp is made in such a way that it looks like it is welcoming someone and which is also our tradition and culture. This lamp is made of clay and waste materials. We were given some funds by Cultural and Tourism Ministry of Uttar Pradesh."

The grand celebrations of the Diwali festivities in Ayodhya will also set a world record as three lakh diyas would be lit on November 6, as a part of Deepotsav.

As per an October 31 official Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) press release she will also be the chief guest at the ground-breaking ceremony of the Queen Suriratna (Heo Hwang-ok) Memorial in Ayodhya on the same day.
