STAAH, the fastest growing channel manager in India, is celebrating an important milestone as it signs a new deal with The Lemon Tree Hotel Company, the 3rd largest hotel chain in India by owned rooms, currently. The official signing event was held in Delhi last week between Vikramjit Singh (President & Chief Revenue Officer, Lemon Tree Hotels) and Gavin Jeddo (Founder and Product Director, STAAH).
Joining them for the celebration was New Zealand Black Caps Captain Brendon McCullum, as part of a trade mission from New Zealand where STAAH is HQ'd.
Having pioneered channel management technology in the mid-2000s, Gavin established STAAH in 2008. As a PCI-certified provider, STAAH continually expands its connectivity through new integrations and today the company works with 3,000 properties handling more than 700,000 room nights every month.
The Lemon Tree Hotel Company, founded in 2002, is India's fastest growing
chain of upscale, midscale and economy hotels. Renowned for providing fun, fresh and spirited experiences to its guests, Lemon Tree Hotels offer high-quality accommodation at affordable prices. The award-winning hotel chain currently operates 39 properties across 23 cities of India.
The software developed by STAAH will be used by all Lemon Tree Hotels' properties to maximize online visibility and optimize occupancy rates via direct bookings. Using STAAH's newly launched Gift Voucher Engine (GiVE), Lemon Tree Hotels hopes to capitalise on India's huge demand for gift card sales, valued at $3.5 billion in 2014. Key to Lemon Tree Hotels decision to take GiVE was that it provides one system for all its properties, giving head office centralized control and reporting of all gift voucher sales across the group. Also important was that the system is intuitive for staff and guests, fully responsive for mobile devices and customisable on both the front and back-end.
Vikramjit Singh, President and Chief Revenue Officer, Lemon Tree Hotels, commented:
"Lemon Tree Hotels is excited to be entering into Gift Voucher sales with STAAH. This alliance will definitely add value to the discerning needs of our customer base, and influence our ancillary revenues in the coming years. We are using their channel manager platform to boost our growing online distribution, amongst others; and thank Gavin and his team for sharing their expertise in contributing to Lemon Tree Hotels' business objectives. We look forward to our successful relationship with STAAH.
