Marvel Comics writer and editor, Stan Lee has appeared as a police officer in the upcoming Netflix series, 'Luke Cage.'

In the trailer of the starting episode, an image of the famous superhero creator is visible on the side of a shop which happens in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, reports the Independent.

The image in Harlem, a northern neighbourhood of New York City, plays off fictional Lee being a police officer, with the caption "See a crime? Report it!" appearing under his photograph.

The fandom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is no stranger to the 93-year-old's cameo in most Marvel films including the one in 'Captain America: Civil War,' where he asks Iron Man who "Tony Stank" is.

However, for the past few productions including 'Daredevil' and 'Jessica Jones,' Lee has appeared only in photograph form.

Starring 40-year-old Mike Colter, 'Luke Cage' will have its premiere on September 28 in Harlem and globally stream on Netflix from 30 September.
