"Ankur Arora murder case is a medical thriller, which is focusing on the medical profession which is usually unknown to the common man. What has actually happened inside the OT is never known. So that's what the film is looking at that do we always know the truth," he said.
"It's based on true events and deals with the subject of Death by negligence," Mathur said.
Paoli Dam, who plays a lawyer in the movie, said that she chose the movie because she had never played the role of a lawyer before.

I play Kajuri Sen in the film. It's a very nice and emotional character and I loved it because I was playing the role of a lawyer for the very first time," she said.
Meanwhile, Tisca Chopra, who is playing the key role of Ankur Arora's mother, said that she was scared to do this film because it is difficult to think that her child is dead.
