Actor Khan Bonfils, who had starred in 'Star Wars
Bonfils, who had played the role of a Jedi master Saesee Tiin in 1991 'Star Wars' film, collapsed in midst of preparing for 'Dante's Inferno', which was due to open at The Rag Factory in east London this week, the Independent reported.
Company's spokesman Chris Hislop said that Bonfils though the director Rocky Rodriguez Jr, performed CPR on location, and an ambulance was called out, unfortunately he couldn't be resuscitated.
He added that the cause of death was still to be revealed.
The company released a statement saying "With great sadness, we announce the death of Kan (Khan) Bonfils. His sudden loss is a tragedy and he will be sorely missed."
Mr Hislop said it was a huge shock for the whole cast and crew, and though there was severe sadness, they were hoping to continue with the production with another actor.
