Steven Spielberg was recently condemned by facebook users for murdering the dinosaur after the 'Jurassic Park' Prank Goes Viral.

Meme creator Jay Branscomb posted a photo to Facebook of Spielberg on the set of 1993 film Jurassic Park and captioned it, "disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a triceratops he just slaughtered, please share so the world could name and shame this despicable man", the Hollywood reporter reported.

The photo received many critical comments, calling it as a disgusting, sad scene. However, it was difficult to determine if people really were fooled into thinking it was real or were just trying to have fun.

Branscomb later on upped the stake with a picture of Spielberg from the Jaws era and wrote "Folks, we need your help identifying the vicious shark-killer shown posing with his illegal prey. Sharks are essential to the ecosystem, and their waters are protected off the coast of California. If you have any knowledge of this fiend's identity or whereabouts, please contact authorities immediately".
