Sting to join Broadway musical 'The Last Ship'

Brit musician Sting is all set to join the cast of his Broadway musical called The Last Ship in December, 2014.

The singer will play the role of foreman Jackie White in story about a prodigal son who returns home to Tyneside, the BBC reported.

Sting said he had no concerns about joining the show adding that knew all the lines and lyrics and he had been working on this show for five years and been at every rehearsal.

The Last Ship tells of a group of unemployed shipbuilders who take over a closed factory to build one final vessel.
