Former Proteas spinner Pat Symcox has said that the whole South African selection committee, including convener of selectors Andrew Hudson, should resign.
According to Sport24, Symcox was particularly upset at the omission of Ryan McLaren, who was Man of the Series in South Africa's recent ODI win over Pakistan in the UAE.
The Proteas have become notorious for chopping and changing their ODI side on a consistent basis over the last few years, the report said.
Symcox said it's time that the selectors explain to the public how they go about picking the national ODI team, the report added.
The second ODI against Pakistan takes place in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday, with the third and final one scheduled for Centurion on Saturday, the report further said.
