A report has said that Taliban chief Mullah Fazlullah could be among those killed in fresh air and ground raids in parts of Khyber Agency's Tirah Valley.
The offensive was launched on Sunday and killed at least 20 militants while injuring eight others, reported The Express Tribune.
The report however, added that no official confirmation on Fazlullah's death had been received.
Ground troops and helicopter gunships targeted several areas of the valley, including Maza Tal, Sookh, Khyber Sanger and Sandan.
Several militant hideouts were also destroyed, sources said. The operation is still underway.
