Warner Bros.' 'The Hobbit
Should the 'The Hobbit' flick, which earned 10.1 million dollars on Friday, pocket another 50 million dollars from Wednesday-Sunday, it will become 2013's third film with 3 consecutive weekends at number one after 'Gravity' and 'Fast and Furious 6', Fox News reported.
Meanwhile, the Disney animated flick that beat off competition from 'The Hobbit' on Friday with 10.3 million dollars, is expected to rake in about 45 million dollars from Wednesday-Sunday.
'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' by Paramount and Sony's 'American Hustle' will probably take the third and fourth place over the five days with around 35 million dollars each.
