Tiger Woods' niece has won the biggest tournament of her career at the Australian Ladies Masters.
Cheyenne Woods, who is the daughter of Tiger's half-brother Earl Dennison Woods, shot a 4-under-par final-round 69 at Royal Pines to finish the tournament at 16-under 276.
While the 23-year-old has earlier won a minor event early in her professional career in the United States, the recent victory on the Ladies European Tour at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast was her most significant so far.
According to news24, Woods said that this is a huge accomplishment for her, adding that she hopes her breakthrough will move the conversation beyond merely her surname.
The win earned her a two-year exemption into Ladies European Tour events.
