In two separate incidents on Saturday, supporters of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) clashed with workers of the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In the first incident, which took place in the Murshidabad region of the state, TMC and Congress supporters clashed over the possession of a party office in the district, which reportedly resulted in the injury of three people.
According to media reports, the second incident, which took place in the Birbhum region, saw TMC and BJP supporters hurling crude bombs at each other after clashing.
