The famous motoring show 'Top Gear' will now have British hosts replacing American actor Matt LeBlanc.
British entertainers Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff have been signed in to host the show. This comes after LeBlanc announced that he would be leaving the show after the next series of this show is aired.
LeBlanc would appear in the 26th season of the motoring show, the shooting for which would commence this year, and will eventually be aired in early 2019.
In the season 27 of this show, the fresh new pair will be seen. The shooting for this will commence in 2019 and will go on to air later in that year.
McGuinness and Flintoff will join automotive journalist Chris Harris for the show.
The ecstatic McGuiness said that getting into the show is a big honour for him as he grew up watching the show, reported Deadline. On the other hand, Flintoff added that this is a great opportunity for him as he has always been passionate about cars.
According to a BBC official, Patrick Holland, the trio will bring in a "new energy and competitive spirit to Top Gear".
