Trace USD3 million transferred by Sharifs' from Dubai to London, asks Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief and former cricketer Imran Khan has called on the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to reveal the trail of the USD three million transferred by the family of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from Dubai to London.

Addressing a press conference here, Khan asked why"There is no supporting document that [shows] how this money reached London 26 years ago."

The Dawn further quoted him, as saying in connection with Panamagate, that the prime minister's statement clashed with those forwarded by his children.

Khan said the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, the Federal Investigation Agency, a German newspaper and BBC had confirmed that Maryam Nawaz was the beneficiary owner of London properties, and that pointed out to the fact that the government is protecting Maryam because Nawaz Sharif's money [was used]...to purchase [property] in London under her name.
