Reacting to the nation wide Trade Union strike, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Tuesday that the Government has taken the demands of the protesters into consideration.
"We tried to explain the situation to the trade union people. We heard their demands regarding wage, bonus among other things. The Government's scheme will be formula driven but we have taken the demands into consideration," Pradhan told the media here.
The trade union members on earlier today called a nationwide strike over NDA's proposed changes in Labor laws.
"This strike is against the Road Safety Bill and Transport Act and the labour laws as well. The strike has been called by the All India Transport Federation," said a trade union worker.
