Two oil tycoons reportedly ended up with a whopping 131,000 pounds bill, as they got into a bragging war to out do each other in spending money on champagne.
A Russian and his business rival from Azerbaijan rattled for two-and-a-half hours as they ordered the most expensive drinks in a London bar, without knowing who had spent the most till their last order, Metro.co.uk reported.
The 'winner', who beat his rival by 2,500 pounds, had spent a whopping amount of 66, 778.91 pounds, celebrated by waving his receipt in the air and jumping up and down.
Both the tycoons bought 84 bottles of Dom Perignon Champagne, worth 325 pounds each, 55 bottles of Cristal Champagne, 13 bottles of Krug, two magnums of Belvedere vodka and 14 bottles of water, in addition to various cocktails.
A spokesman for the Kitsch bar in Mayfair said that both of the competitors knew each other, but wouldn't be termed as best friends.
