The Uttar Pradesh Police filed a case against the two accused involved in the abduction and later gang rape of a minor in Sitapur.
According to the victim's sister, the girl had come to Sitapur to a meet private physician where she met the two accused who were her neighbors in her hometown Rampur.
"Two people were involved in this. Their names were Raju and Tara. They are residents of Rampur," she said.
The two men fled the scene when the girl's condition worsened. The girl was later taken to the hospital for treatment by the nearby residents.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and are still looking for the two accused men.
"The two neighbors, Raju and Tara, met her and asked her to sit inside a three-wheeler. As per the girl's statement, when they found an opportunity they made her smell something and then gang raped her," said circle officer, SK Singh.
