Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt will be running his last race at June's Racers Grand Prix before taking retirement from competition two months later.

The 30-year-old sprinter has already asserted that he plans to retire from the sport after the 2017 World Championships scheduled to take place between August5-13 in London, reported Stuff.co.nz.

"The Racers Grand Prix will be my last race in Jamaica people, it will be the last time I run in Jamaica," Bolt told Television Jamaica's Smile Jamaica morning magazine programme.

"Yes I am definitely going to retire after the world championships in London, that will be my last one," he added.

Bolt is expected to feature in both the 100m and 200m events at the 2017 World Championships.

Bolt is widely considered as the greatest sprinter of all-time and is the first man to hold both the 100m and 200m records as well as the record being a part of the 4X100m relay. The Jamaican is also the reigning world and Olympic champion.
