Varanasi gears up for PM Modi's visit
People performed religious rituals in Jayapur village of Varanasi on Friday ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit to the holy city.
Preparations are in full swing and adequate security arrangements have been put in place in the city for his visit.
This is the Prime Minister's first visit to his Lok Sabha constituency after assuming the charge in New Delhi.

Prime Minister Modi is expected to lay the foundation stone of a trade facilitation centre for weavers and also adopt a village under his Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana as an attempt to empower villagers.
The project is aimed at the upliftment of the weavers as Prime Minister Modi had vowed to take steps for their betterment.
