Nicolas Velez's second half goal helped NorthEast to register their second consecutive win of the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) as they clinch a 1-0 triumph over Atletico de Kolkata here at Indira Gandhi Stadium on Friday.
After a goalless first half, NorthEast forward Velez thumped a match-winning goal for his side in the 76th minute of the match.
Following the win, NorthEast are currently at the sixth spot, while Kolkata are at the fourth spot in league table.
The NorthEast will now lock horns with Mumbai City at D.Y. Patil Stadium on October 28.
