Rumours surrounding famous Canadian rapper Mr. Capone-E to be a Pakistani Hazara now seems to be confirmed.
A video of the rapper surfaced online, where his picture was displayed with a Pakistani national flag in the background.
A screenshot of the video was shared by a Twitter user, named Sturgeon's Law, which was captioned, "Lol damn Mr. Capone-e has been passing as Chicano/Mexican this whole time but is actually a Pakistani Hazara."
The Hazara community are an ethnic group native to the region of Hazarajat in central Afghanistan, but their significant minority resides in Pakistan.
Further, it has been reported that Mr. Capone E was born in Pakistan to an ethnic Hazara family. He and his family moved to West Covina at an early age.
Later he went on to become a hip-hop musician as he recorded songs, including 'Dedicated to the Oldies 2' and 'Still Connected'which became popular.
The video has garnered some responses as one of them wrote, " He don't like having shades off, because he looks Pakistani?.
