After Maria Sharapova stated that she doesn't know who Sachin Tendulkar was post her Wimbledon match against Angelique Kerber, angry cricket fans took to Twitter, and started a new trend called "Who is Maria Sharapova".
The trend caught up all over the world, with fans blasting and cracking jokes on the 27-year-old Russian tennis star as they referred to Tendulkar, 41, who in fact was amongst the audience during the game, as the 'god of cricket.'
Tendulkar even beats Sharapova in the number of 4.39 million followers he has on Twitter in comparison to the beauty's mere 1.11million.
