Wickremesinghe tells Lanka Parliament that he has invited PM Modi to sign Economic and Technological Agreement

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has told his country's parliament that he has invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sri Lanka to sign the Indo-Lanka Economic and Technological Agreement.

According to the Colombo Page web site, Wickremesinghe said he had not discussed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with India during his New Delhi visit from September 14 to 16.

He also said that Colombo had thanked New Delhi for its assistance in development and resettlement projects.
