Wiley, Edvancer launch globally recognized certification in Big Data and Hadoop

Online education company Edvancer has partnered with global provider of content-enabled solutions, Wiley, to introduce a new, globally recognized certification in Big data and Hadoop.

The Wiley-Edvancer Certified Big Data Expert course is specially designed for IT professionals, engineering and computers students looking to gain relevant skill-sets and get jobs in the big data and analytics space.

On completing the requirements of the seven week course which include a real world project and a final exam, students will receive a globally recognized certification in Big Data, jointly certified by Edvancer and Wiley. The certification exam will be conducted in multiple centers around the country.

The course not only covers the complete Hadoop and Big Data ecosystem but also shows real-world case studies of how they are being used to store, process and analyze large & complicated data. The big data technologies covered include Hadoop, MapReduce, Yarn, HDFS, Sqoop, Flume, Pig, Hive, Spark and Scala in detail.

The course will be delivered by Big Data experts from around the world through a live, instructor-led, online class format. The overall objective of the course is to provide the big data enthusiast a rapid and direct path to solving real and interesting problems in big data using Hadoop - so that they have a diverse portfolio of projects to show employers.
