Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) convener Hardik Patel on Saturday said the Patel community would launch an agitation during the third ODI between India and South Africa in Rajkot on October 18 in favour of their demands.
"We are just going to present demands of the Patel community in front of the world, and there is no intention to sabotage or obstruct the match. If we are not allowed inside the stadium, we will continue our protest outside the stadium," Patel told the media here.
Hardik is the face of the Patel agitation which practically brought Gujarat to a standstill in September.
The state of Gujarat has witnessed severe disruptions and incidents of violence in the past few weeks, with curfew imposed in some areas, including the biggest city of Ahmedabad.
