Union Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma on Tuesday pitched for making Uttar Pradesh a 'tourism hub' and said the Centre will fulfill the dream of making the state 'Uttam Pradesh' under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership.

"I am well aware of working pattern of Chief Minister Adiyanath. I have confidence that in his leadership Uttar Pradesh will develop in the field of tourism. We will make Uttar Pradesh a tourism hub and will fulfill the dream of making Uttar Pradesh as "Uttam Pradesh" under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership," Sharma told ANI after his meeting with Adityanath in Lucknow.

He further said that he discussed about roads, railways and infrastructural development besides law and order situation and corruption in his parliamentary constituency Gautam Budh Nagar during his meeting with the Chief Minister.

Two weeks after taking oath, Adityanath will hold his first Cabinet meeting today where it is expected that the issue of farmers' loan waiver will be discussed.

A proposal to waive off farmers' loans had also been prepared and will be presented before the Cabinet at its meeting.

The BJP had in its manifesto promised to waive off farmers' loan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also vowed the same during the elections campaign in Uttar Pradesh.
