American actress-cum singer Selena Gomez recently jotted her name in history by becoming the first celebrity to officially cross 100 million followers on Instagram.

Following the record breaking achievement, 24-year-old star reportedly thanked her fans, who took out a campaign '#SelenaBreakTheInternet' to put her over the top.

This is not it, the 'Same old love' hit-maker also holds a record of having the most liked picture to her name with 5.6 million likes.

Interestingly, the much acclaimed diva has not posted any new update ever since her last Revival Tour canceled, almost a month ago. The snap garnered 2.9 million likes.

With the new record, Selena is now placed above long time Instagram queens like Taylor Swift with 91.4 million followers, Beyonce with 85.3 million and even hottie Kim Kardashian West with 83.6 million.
