Former world number one golfer Tiger Woods has expressed that he needs more time to work on his game, but insisted that he was pleased with his performance in the recently concluded Augusta Masters.
Woods finished the tournament tied for 17th at five-under overall after making a comeback at Augusta National, following a two-month sabbatical from the professional game.
The 14-time major champion said he that he had a little time off and to go back to the drawing board, work on it again, and refine what he was doing, Sport24 reported.
The American golfer insisted that his next tournament is going to take some time, adding that he was going to practice more before the start of any major tournament.
Earlier, Woods withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in February, his second start of the season, because of tightness in his back , stating that he was taking an indefinite break from the professional game.
