Zachary Quinto and boyfriend Jonathan Groff have reportedly broken up, after dating for almost a year.
A source told Us Magazine that they both really loved each other but long distance and conflicting work schedules forced them to call off their relationship, so it was not an easy split.
The insider added that Quinto seems fine and is going to be in New York for his new play 'The Glass Menagerie', whereas Groff has put aside any of his own heartache to console his close friend Lea Michele, who is grieving the death of her boyfriend, Cory Monteith.
Quinto, 36, and Glee actor Groff, 28, first confirmed their relationship in September 2012, nearly a year after Quinto officially came out as a gay man in October 2011.
