Zimbabwe's former President Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace have flown to Singapore on their first trip abroad since the former resigned last month.
Several media reports stated that the 93-year-old has gone on his annual leave and for regular medical checkups.
He is likely to make a stop-over in Malaysia, where his daughter, Bona, is expecting a second child, the report said.
Mugabe, after 37 years in power, resigned after the army and his ruling ZANU-PF party turned against him.
He had not made any public appearances since then.
Mugabe and his wife, Grace Mugabe, were granted immunity from prosecution and were assured of safety for the duo.
