2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible official images out

These are the first official images of the 2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible, which has been leaked out on interweb. These pictures give us an early idea of how the 4 Series Cabrio will look like. The exterior of the vehicle looks similar to that of the coupe albeit, except some changes like a retractable metal roof and others.

The exact technical details of the vehicle are yet to be revealed by the company, but we expect it to house the same engine configuration that is also available in its coupe sibling. It will also come equipped with engine options such as a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder that develops 240bhp, and a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine that churns out maximum power output of 300bhp.

The vehicle accelerates to 100kmph from stand still in mere 5.5 seconds, and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The 2014 BMW 4-Series Convertible will debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
