The 2014 Range Rover Sport that made its debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show earlier this year, is now all set to make its entry into the Indian market on October 17th. The vehicle has already gone on sale in Britain.
The other engine to be offered on the car will be the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 mill, which is offered on R range of Jaguar cars and the 2013 Range Rover. What makes this engine super special is its power output of 510bhp and capability to touch the 0-100kmph mark in mere 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 250kmph.
Although the 2014 Range Rover Sport is a high performance SUV, both the engines are quite frugal. While the diesel engine returns an impressive 13kmpl of mileage, the petrol version is likely to deliver 8kmpl. The company hasn't yet announced the pricing of the vehicle, we expect it to be priced little over 1 crore.
