Hyundai Motor has started the production of its new i30 car at the European production facility, in Nosovice, Czech Republic. The refreshed version of i30 features new engine, transmissions, safety and comfort features along with updated exterior design. The new i30 will be available in three bodystyles viz. three-door, five-door and wagon. The updated version follows company's strategy to create cars which answers to the needs of European customers.

The i30 Turbo is slightly different from the standard i30 models. It features a redesigned radiator grille, front and rear bumpers with red detailing, new front LED lamp design, twin exhausts, 18-inch alloy wheels and a more powerful engine.

The updated model is more fuel efficient than its previous generation as it offers a mileage of 3.6 l/100 km with CO2 emissions as low as 94 g/km. Under the hood of i30 Turbo is the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that musters power of 183.5bhp. The Nurburgring-tuned engine is coupled to seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The i30 Turbo can achieve 100kmph from standstill in mere 8 seconds with a top speed of 219kmph.

Last year, Hyundai Motor with its eight manufacturing units sold a total of 4.96 million vehicles globally. To develop exciting new designs, the automaker has seven design & technical centers worldwide.
