Ford Launches the Updated EcoSport at INR 6.79 Lacs

Ford has unveiled the updated EcoSport at INR 6.79 lacs for the base petrol variant (ex-showroom Delhi). This updated compact SUV gets more powerful diesel engine that is being used in the two latest cars from Ford namely; Figo Aspire and Figo. Apart from under the hood, there are some additions on the inside as well.

Under the hood, is the updated 1.5 litre TDCi diesel that produces 100 PS of power and 205 Nm of torque, strangely not 215 Nm like in Aspire. Other than this, there is the 1.0 litre 125 PS ecoboost and the 112 PS 1.5-litre TiVCT petrol.

More importantly, Ford has brought in a cheaper Ecoboost option under the Trend+ variant making this advanced motor more desireable. Also, the company have introduced a new Trend+ variant that gets a few more addition compared to the Trend one.

On the outside there is the new color Golden Bronze that we have seen in the now phased out Fiesta and DRLs are now offered an option unlike before when they were added as an accessory.
