2016 Mustang GT gets the iconic hood turn signals, historic cue from the 60’s Mustang along with new packages and SYNC 3 infotainment system
Ford has updated the sixth generation pony for the 2016 model year, there are no major stylistic updates, but Mustang gets new packages, alloys, racing stripes, etc. The cars will arrive in the third quarter of 2015.
“Mustang enthusiasts are not shy about telling us what they want” - Melanie Banker
Melanie Banker, Mustang marketing manager “we’re constantly exploring ideas together with our engineering team to develop new features we know our customers will love. These new hood vent indicators for the GT model are a perfect example of us communicating customer feedback to Mustang engineers and the team responding with an exclusive new feature for owners of the 2016 Mustang GT.”
Speaking of the changes, Ford is now offering the turn indicators on the hood as standard equipment of the 2016 Ford Mustang GT - an inspiration borrowed from the 1967 Ford Mustang. The company is also offering top racing stripes for the 2016 Mustang, offered in black or silver, the stripes are available on most color and trim packages. Contrasting roof (black colored) is now also available for both EcoBoost and GT models.
