XE delighted the 'Jag' lovers today with it's world preview in London; the vehicle lies in one of the most sought after mid-size luxury sedan with rivals like Mercedes Benz C Class, BMW 3 series and Audi A4. Jaguar XE, touted to be the most fuel efficient in Jag's history, also the lowest on overall ownership and sits below the XF and XJ.

The sedan packs company's new Ingenium series of 4-cylinder diesel and petrol engines, Jaguar says new engines are both extremely frugal and sporty. The vehicle will be launched globally in 2015, expect Indian debut at the same time. Since we already have the rest of its three arch competitors in India and indeed they account for a large chunk of sales. Seems like XE will certainly put Jaguar on par with the rivals when it comes to sales in India.

Adding more on XE, it's latest vehicle segment and packs interesting stuff around it like its aluminum construction and it's fuel efficient Ingenium series of 4-cylinder engines. Though the final details will be out at the upcoming Paris Motor Show next month. But Jaguar enlightens that the diesel engine from the series delivers slightly over 26km/l in European cycle while the CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.

XE also features 'InControl' infotainment system which features an 8-inch touch screen that sports Bluetooth and WiFi hotspot along with other connectivity options. The 'InControl' also comes with InControl Remote which allows Android and Apple users to connect their phone with the car wireless to control various function of the car like unlocking doors, starting engine among various others. XE also gets laser head-up display that displays the crisp and colored images on the info on windows. XE has started raging, looks like British wild cats are on roar watch out Germans!
