Rolls-Royce has announced that it will open a new facility in Bangalore by the end of 2017 and will employ 500 people. The facility will enhance the company’s engineering capabilities and include development of new tools and technologies. The new facility will also be used for aerospace engineering work. We can also expect the company to test automobile technologies at the facility.
According to Mr. Kishore Jayaraman, President – India & South Asia, Rolls-Royce, “Our plan to expand our capabilities here is testament to India’s talented engineering workforce and strongly supports our growth strategy in India. The Government here is fully committed to the development of the aerospace industry, by providing the right infrastructure, talent and a conducive business environment for the industry to thrive.”
