For NTPC's Telangana Power Plant
Bharat Forge announced that its joint venture with GE, Alstom Bharat Forge Power has signed a contract worth $219 million approximately (Rs 1495 crore) with NTPC.Alstom Bharat Forge Power will supply two units of 800 MW ultra supercritical steam turbine generators island, on EPC basis, along with related civil work for the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project Phase-1 near Ramagundam, Karimnagar district of Telangana State, India.
