Australia stocks rise on strong US jobs report

Australian share market finished the session modest higher on Friday, 04 July 2014, extending winning streak for third consecutive day, as risk appetite was boosted up after the U.S. reported strong hiring for June. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 and the broader All Ordinaries each grew 0.6% to 5525 and 5511.80, respectively. For the week, the S&P / ASX 200 and the broader All Ordinaries Index both gained 1.5%.
