Balkrishna Industries standalone net profit rises 0.45% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 1.57% to Rs 874.22 crore

Net profit of Balkrishna Industries rose 0.45% to Rs 154.99 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 154.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.57% to Rs 874.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 888.16 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 16.13% to Rs 567.67 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 488.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 14.16% to Rs 3212.44 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3742.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
