Bata India standalone net profit rises 44.91% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 6.91% to Rs 632.31 crore

Net profit of Bata India rose 44.91% to Rs 52.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 35.94 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 6.91% to Rs 632.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 591.43 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 40.84% to Rs 223.58 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 158.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 6.57% to Rs 2629.27 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2467.16 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
